The SYSTAAQ Respiratory Pathogen Panel (RPP) features multiplex Real-time PCR which can detect several respiratory illnesses. The Comprehensive RPP features a 16-target multiplex, spread out over 4 assays. The Comprehensive RPP kit runs 48 separate sample reactions. The kit comes with pre-filled tubes of No Template Control (NTC) to be used as a negative control, and 4 prefilled Positive Controls, one for each of the 4 unique assays, which are to be added to each run.

The SYSTAAQ RPP Common Panel is a focused version of the comprehensive panel, featuring more common illnesses for faster results. The Common Panel features a 4-target multiplex assay Real-time PCR kit per tube in an 8-tube strip. Each Common Panel kit is designed to run 48 reactions. The kit also comes with a prefilled tube of NTC for use as the negative control, and a tube of Positive Control, which are to be added to each run.

RPP Comprehensive Panel:

  • Catalog number 52001: Two pre-filled plates designed for use on the Thermo-Scientific QuantStudio 5 real-time PCR machine. Each plate can run 24 reactions.
  • Catalog number 52001B: Four individual master mix assay tubes, containing enough master mix for 48 reactions, to be used on the real-time PCR machine of choice.

RPP Common Panel:

  • Catalog number 62001: Six pre-filled 8-tube strips, which can be used on most real-time PCR machines.
  • Catalog number 62001B: One Individual assay tube, containing enough master mix for 48 reactions.
